Are you on the verge of giving up?
If you have ever given up on life or have considered taking your own life, then you don’t know one important truth: You have been created Very Special by a loving, caring, understanding and forgiving God, Who sees you all the time, Who knows what you are going through and Who longs to comfort you.

Wonder where do you have to go to find this God? Will you ever be able to meet Him?
Actually you don’t have to go anywhere to meet Him. You can meet Him right in your home, on the street, in your vehicle, at your workplace, in hospital – wherever you are because He is everywhere and is longing to meet you.

The best part is that once He comes to live in you, He has promised to never leave you nor forsake you. Whenever you feel lonely or depressed or misunderstood, you can pour out your heart to Him. He is always available and willing to carry your burdens. This God is alive. This God is personal. He is real. He is compassionate. He is a God of love. His name is Jesus!

I think I know Jesus.
Perhaps you may know about Jesus. May be you even pray to him also. But knowing Him is entirely different from knowing Him personally. You may know a lot about the President of your country but you may not know him personally. Did you know that it is relationship and not religion that connects you to God? Did you know that you can have a personal relationship with God?

Is it possible to have a personal relationship with God?
Yes, because God created us for this reason. He wanted each one of us to be in continuous and joyous relationship with Him.

God created a perfect world. Unfortunately, God’s first human creation, Adam, disobeyed God. As a result of Adam’s sin, his connection with God was broken and his sin was transferred to all humanity. The Bible states in Romans 3:23, “…. for all have sinned and fell short of the glory of God.” The consequences of sin were sickness, guilt, shame, depression, addictions, death, and every form of failure. Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death…” This means that when we die, the penalty of sin is eternal separation from God in a terrible place called hell.

But God loved us so much that He did not hesitate to make the greatest sacrifice in order to restore our relationship with Him. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Over 2000 years ago, Jesus left His heavenly splendor, came down to earth and took on human flesh. He lived a sinless life in total obedience to His Father and died a terrible death on the Cross, paying the penalty for the sins of the whole world. But on the third day He raised from the dead for death could not hold Him. Thus Jesus obtained back for us the right to become sons and daughters of the Living God. He now offers us the gift of spending eternity with Him in heaven when we die.

You may be wondering how do you know that God really loves you?
You can know it through the Bible and by experiencing it. The Bible tells us in Psalms 139:13-14 that each one of us is fearfully and wonderfully made by God. No one is born by mistake.

1 John 4:16 says that God is Love. Love is not just something God does. It is Who He Is. Unlike human love, which is limited, and imperfect, God’s love for each human being is perfect. God’s love for you does not waver but remains constant. God loves you all the time and not just when you are good. He does not approve of everything you do. In fact, your wrong actions may have consequences, but God will still love you. That is why you should always look to God for love. As you receive His precious love, it will bring emotional healing and wholeness into every area of your life.

What must I do to experience God's love?
You can experience God’s perfect love for you only if you are connected to Him. But your sin separates you from God. However, if you repent of your sins, believe that Jesus took the punishment for your sins on the Cross and invite Him into your life, Jesus will come in and gloriously connect you to the Father God.

Are you ready?
If you want to invite Jesus into your life, you could do so by saying this prayer:

“Thank you God for loving me so much that you gave your only begotten Son to die for my sins. I repent of my sins. Lord Jesus, I accept You as my Saviour and believe that You died and rose again. Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of the resurrected life. The Holy Spirit, I ask You to come into my heart right now and make it your dwelling place. Please take control of my life and make me a new person in You. I receive this free gift of eternal life. Thank You Lord Jesus. Amen.”
